Rental Terms by Template Line (tsacm2124m100)
Use this session to define the rental agreement terms for a rental template resource line.

- Template
- The code of the rental template.
- Line
- The code of the rental template resource line.
- Resource Type

The type of resource specified in the rental template line.
Allowed values
- Labor

The labor required to execute a reference activity. The required labor time can be only be specified when the reference activity is used for field service.
- Tool
-
The tool required to execute the reference activity. This tool is returned after the Reference Activity is completed.
- Subcontracting

The subcontracting requirement. In case the reference activity is specified for subcontracting, and it is used for field service then the subcontracting requirement must be specified.
- Other

The resource that is needed and which cannot be scaled, is termed as Other Resource Types.

Materials that are needed to execute the reference activity.

- Cost Specification Type
-
The type of deviation from the agreed rental conditions for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Allowed values
- Rental Period Extension

The deviation where the agreed rental period is extended, for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the item is rentable item.
- Exceeding Rental Agreement

The deviation where the agreed rental quantities or conditions are exceeded, for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the item is non-rentable item.
- Rental Early Return
- The deviation where rental equipment is returned earlier than agreed, for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
- Quantity Based On

The period or quantity for which the customer must be invoiced for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
Allowed values
- Minimum Period

The minimum rental period for which the customer must be invoiced based on the rental agreement terms.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Early Return.
- Cumulative Period

The Rental Agreement Term is applied to the accumulated rental period for which the customer must be invoiced.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Period Extension.
- Extended Period

The Rental Agreement Term is applied to the rental period exceeding the agreed period for which the customer must be invoiced.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Period Extension.
- Cumulative Quantity
-
The Rental Agreement Term is applied to the accumulated quantity for which the customer must be invoiced.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Exceeding Rental Agreement.
- Exceeding Quantity

The Rental Agreement Term is applied to the quantity exceeding the agreed amount for which the customer must be invoiced.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Exceeding Rental Agreement.
- Used

The Rental Agreement Term is applied to the actual rental period used by the customer for which the customer must be invoiced.
Note: This option is displayed only if the Cost Specification Type field is set to a value of Rental Early Return.
- Source of Rate

The rate source that must be used to invoice the customer for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.Note: This Field is enabled only if the Quantity Based On field is set to a value other than Minimum Period.
Allowed values
- Initial Rate
- The initially agreed rental rate that must be used to invoice the customer for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
- Price Structure
- The rate retrieved from the applicable price structure that must be used to invoice the customer for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
- Retro-Billing

If this check box is selected, the previously invoiced amounts are recalculated when a different rental rate applies based on the rental agreement terms.
If the rental invoice line is not costed, the application updates the amount on the existing invoice line.
If the rental invoice line is already costed, the application creates a new rental invoice line to correct the amount.
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Quantity Based On field is set toCumulative Period, Cumulative Quantity, or Used and the Source of Rate field is set to Price Structure. - Minimum Rental Period

The minimum rental period for which the customer must be invoiced for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
Note:
- This field is enabled only if:
- The Cost Specification Type field is set to Rental Early Return.
- The Quantity Based On field is set to Minimum Period.
- This field is enabled only if:
- Minimum Rental Period Unit

The unit of the minimum rental period for which the customer must be invoiced for the usage of rental equipment based on the rental agreement terms.
