Defining rental agreement terms

You can use the Rental Agreement Terms (tsmdm0122m000) session to define and maintain rental agreement terms for rental pricing and invoicing.

Rental Agreement Terms are specified for various item-related categories, including item group, service item group, installation group, individual item, or serial number. The terms are date effective, and the application selects the values based on the applicable search sequence.

To define the rental agreement terms:
  1. Access the Rental Agreement Terms (tsmdm0122m000) session.
  2. Specify the level for which the terms are applicable, in the General section.
  3. Specify this information in the Terms section:
    1. Cost Specification Type
    2. Quantity Based On
    3. Source Rate
    4. Retro-Billing, if applicable
    5. Minimum Rental Period
  4. Specify the Effective Date from which the terms apply, in the Registration section.
  5. Click Save. The data defined for the rental agreement term is saved.
