Purge and Renumber Sequences (tiasl4201m000)
Use this session to remove assembly orders for a range of assembly lines from the line sequence. If an assembly order is purged from the line sequence, actual sequences are no longer present for the assembly order.
- If an assembly order is purged from the line sequence, the assembly order can no longer have actual sequences present. All orders from segments of the roll-off line and supply lines are also purged.
- Positions that have an Assembly Order can only be purged from the line sequence, if these conditions are met:
- For assembly orders, Infor LN determines eligibility using the Planned End Time (PLET) of the order’s sequence position on the last segment of the roll-off line. This PLET corresponds to the order’s Planned Offline Date specified in the Assembly Orders (tiasc2502m000) session and must be on or before the specified Up To Date.
- For all segments of the order roll-off line, all orders in positions preceding the order’s position must have a Sequence Status of Completed in line sequence of last segment.
The last segment must not have orders on prior positions in the line sequence with the status Planned or Started.
Field Information
- Roll-off Line
-
Select the roll off lines from which assembly orders must be purged. Assembly orders that are purged from the selected roll off lines are automatically purged from all associated supply lines.
- A supply line can also function as a roll-off line (for example, in the case of spare parts). To purge these (spare part) orders, the corresponding roll-off line must be selected.
- If the selection does not include any roll-off (main) lines, the session does not run and the message
No data within selectionis displayed.
- Upto Date
-
The cutoff date and time up to which Infor LN attempts to purge line sequence positions. Positions with a planned line end time (PLET) on the last segment of the roll-off line that occurs on or before this date are eligible for purging.
Note:- For positions that contain an Assembly Order, Infor LN uses the PLET of that order’s position on the last segment of its roll-off line. This PLET is equal to the Assembly Order’s Planned Offline Datespecified in the Assembly Orders (tiasc2502m000) session.
- Positions are purged only if all other purge conditions are also met.
- Renumber
-
If this check box is selected, Infor LN renumbers the remaining (not purged) sequence positions to close gaps (starting from position 1).
