Global Update of Prices in Item Purchase Data (tdpcg0232m000)

Use this session to globally update prices in the Items - Purchase (tdipu0101m000) session.

Note: You can run this session only for items for which the price can also be updated manually, in the Items - Purchase (tdipu0101m000) session.

Update

Specify the price that must be updated.

Allowed values

Note:

You can select one of the options to update the respective price in the Items - Purchase (tdipu0101m000) session.
You can view the Rental Purchase Price option only if the Buying Equipment field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.

Update Price

The method to update the price.

Select the By Percentage check box to update the price with a percentage. As a result, the Percentage to Change By field is available.
Select the By Value check box to update the price with a value. As a result, the Value to Change By field is available.

Percentage to Change By

The percentage with which the price is updated.

The new price is calculated as follows:

Rounding Code

The rounding code, which indicates how prices must be rounded off.

Value to Change By

The value with which the price is updated.

Note: If the currency of the old price and the new price differ, the value is converted to the item data currency.

Options

Simulation Only: If this check box is selected, a report simulating the update of prices is displayed. The data update is only displayed, not processed.
Print Changes: If this check box is selected, a report is displayed or printed with the updated data.
Update Average Purchase Price: If this check box is selected, the Average Purchase Price, as recorded in the Items - Purchase (tdipu0101m000) session, is updated.
Update Latest Purchase Price: If this check box is selected, the Latest Purchase Price, as recorded in the Items - Purchase (tdipu0101m000) session, is updated with the new purchase price.
