Item Search (tcibd8100m000)
Use this session to perform the semantic item search and view the items are retrieved based on the specified search attributes. The application displays the items with highest similarity. However, items that do not match the specified search attributes are also displayed.
The application allows you to perform the semantic search only if one of these values are specified:
- Item Code
- Item Description
- Minimum Similarity
- Maximum number of results shown
- Any of the other search attributes
- This session can be accessed only if this data is defined in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session:
- The Semantic Item Search Implemented check box is selected.
- The Current Item Search Status field is set to Active.
- You can also access this session using the option from the menu in the Items (tcibd0501m000) or Item (tcibd0501m100) session.

The size of the item.

The industrial standard used to produce or purchase the item. For example, NEN3140 or ISO9000. This field is only used for information.

The product type associated with the item.

The product class of the item.

The product line of the item.
- Manufacturer

The default manufacturer of the item.
- Selection Code

The selection code of the item based on the item grouping data.
- EAN Code

The bar code that is used to register the item.

The harmonized system code of the item.

- Minimum Similarity

The minimum matching percentage based on which the items are displayed. The items with the specified search attributes are displayed more than or equal to this value.
- Maximum number of results shown

The maximum number of items that must be displayed based on the specified search criteria. This value is based on the Minimum Similarity.
- Site

The code of the site associated with the item.
Note: This field is displayed only if the Sites field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session. - Sales Office

The code of the sales office associated with the item.
Note:- This field is displayed only if the Sites field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The sales office must be defined in the current company.
- Service Office

The code of the service office associated with the item.
Note:- This field is displayed only if:
- The Sites field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Items Service by Office is Mandatory check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
- The service office must be defined in the current company.

The picture of the item.

The code of the item that is displayed based on specified search criteria.

The percentage of similarity of the item that matches the specified criteria.
- Available for Site

If this check box is selected, the application checks if item data is defined for the specified site.
- Available for Sales Office

If this check box is selected, the application checks if item sales data by sales office is defined for the specified sales office.
- Available for Service Office

If this check box is selected, the application checks if item service data by service office is defined for the specified service office.
- Quantity on Hand

The inventory on hand available for the item.
- Inventory Unit

The inventory unit in which the quantity on hand is expressed.

The type of the item that is displayed based on specified search criteria.

The item group to which the item is assigned.
To select the item group you can:
- Select or create an item group in the Item Groups (tcmcs0123m000) session.
- Select the item's default data from the Item Defaults (tcibd0102m000) session. The item default data includes the item group.
If you defined default item data for the item type and item group in the Item Defaults (tcibd0102m000) session, LN enters the default data in the relevant fields of the Items (tcibd0501m000) session. You can use the default values or change the values as required.
- Indicative Item Value

The indicative value of the item that is calculated using the item standard costs.
Note: If the Standard Cost by Enterprise Unit field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session, the application considers the latest standard cost of the item for which the Standard Costs Base check box is selected in the Item - Costing (ticpr0107m000) session, to calculate this value. - Indicative Item Value Currency

The code of the currency in which the indicative item value is expressed. This value is used a reference currency as specified in the Companies (tcemm1170m000) session.
- Indicative Item Value Unit
-
The inventory unit in which the indicative item value is expressed.
- Indicative Item Value Modification Date
-
The date and time when the indicative item value of the item is modified.
- Indicative Item Value Based on Default

If this check box is selected, this value is calculated based on the default standard cost defined for the item.
Note:- By default, this check box is cleared.
- The application selects this check box if the Indicative Item Value is updated using the Update Indicative Item Value (tcibd0201m200)
- The application clears this check box, if the Indicative Item Value is modified.
- Dimension Controlled

If this check box is selected, the item is dimension-controlled.
