Planner Preferences (plexp0100m000)
Use this session to set the Planner preferences.
This session contains:
- A history list of the data and effective dates. In a multicompany structure, the list displays data for all companies.
- The current data at the top of the list without an effective date.
After performing the required changes and saving the company data, the application performs these actions:
- Adds the new set to the history list.
- Updates the current set.

The type of planner.
Allowed values
- Infor Planner
- If this option is selected, Planner+ is enabled in Infor LN. The application uses the native Planner+ engine for advanced planning, scheduling, and scenario management.
- External Planner
- If this option is selected, Planner+ is disabled in Infor LN. The organization can integrate an external planning solution with Infor LN.
- Sales Quotation Prefix

The prefix of the sales quote.

- File Transfer

The number of hours planned for the day in enterprise planning. The hours are converted into seconds. The planner+ requires the duration is seconds for processing.
For example: If extra lead time is 2 days and the parameter defines 1 day = 8 hours, the application converts the duration as:
2 days × 8 hours/day = 16 hours 16 hours × 3,600 seconds/hour = 57,600 seconds The planning engine uses the converted value (57,600 seconds) for accurate lead-time calculations.Note: This field is displayed only if the Planner Type field is set to Infor Planner. - Days To Hours Manufacturing

- If an item is not a constraint, the planning engine can schedule an order early or late.

- Availability of items is limited within the period defined by the time fence.
- Constraint Time Fence Buffer

The protected period during which an item or resource is treated as constrained by the planning engine.

- Company Time Zone
