Inventory Value (plaps8850m200)

Use this session to view the financial value of inventory for the items, sites, and warehouses within the selected planning scenario and time horizon. The session provides graphical dashboards and grid views to evaluate the inventory valuation trends and monitor the stock investments over a period of time.

Inventory Value - Filters

You can filter the inventory value of items by planner, buyer, site, or warehouse.

The inventory value is displayed based on the selected view. The session provides three views:

Total Inventory Value
The consolidated inventory value is displayed based on the selected sites, or warehouses.
Individual Inventory Value
The inventory value is displayed based on the selected site, or warehouse. This view displays each site, or warehouse in an individual line chart.
Detailed Inventory Value
The inventory value is displayed based on the selected site, or warehouse. This view displays a detailed inventory value only for each site or warehouse.

The inventory value is displayed in Dollars ($).

Inventory value – Graph

This section consists of a graph with plotting area. The graph consists of two axes:

  • The horizontal axis indicates the time.
  • The vertical axis indicates the inventory value.
Note: You can right-click the chart and select a different time period. Allowed values:
  • Day
  • Week
  • Month
  • Year

You can also hover over a bar in the graph to view the inventory value for a time period.

Inventory value – Grid

The Inventory value grid displays a detailed information of the inventory values.

The grid displays the available inventory, the inventory with WIP status, the inventory in transit and the total inventory. The value is displayed in Dollars.

Note: You can use the Export to Excel option to export the data in an Excel format.

Inventory Value – Options

You can use the Inventory Value Options (plaps0198m000) session to define the default settings for the scenario, start date, and duration, based on which the plan items are filtered in the Inventory Value (plaps8850m200) session. You can also select the color legend for the entities displayed in the Inventory Value graph.
