User Data Maintenance Ownership Parameters (ttaad2112m000)

Use this session to specify the ownership parameters of the user data.

The session is only relevant when LN is not the owner of the security user data. When LN is the owner, this message is displayed: “LN is the owner of Security User Data. Maintaining ownership of User Data properties is therefore not possible”.

Actions menu

Actualize LN User Data: This action requests IFS to send a BOD to actualize all users associated with the User Data Default Set. LN user data is then updated according to the settings of the linked User Data Default Set.

Field Information

User Property

The property of the user data. It can have one of these values:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • AMS Roles
  • Companies
  • Languages
  • Menus
  • Templates

The session checks whether records are available for all user properties. If any of these values is missing, they are created.

Maintenance Ownership

The ownership of the user property. It can have one of these values:

  • LN
  • Outside LN

Regardless of the Security User Data ownership, the default maintenance ownership for user properties Companies, Languages, Menus, and Templates is set to LN.

If maintenance ownership changes from LN to Outside LN, the Actualize LN User Data action is triggered automatically. This action updates user data based on the settings in the associated User Data Default Set. If the user interrupts or cancels the actualization, the user data is not updated immediately. Instead, the IFS‑owned properties are updated the next time the user is updated in IFS.
