Copy Generic Job Shop Bill of Material (tipcf3211m000)

Use this session to copy the data from a generic job shop bill of material (BOM) to a new or existing generic job shop bill of material.

Note: This session can be accessed only if the Configurations by Site field is set to Active or In Preparation and the Product Configurator (PCF) check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.

Field Information

Source

Site: The site ID of the source from where the generic job shop bill of material is copied.
Product: The product ID of the source from where the generic job shop bill of material is copied.
Version: The version number of the source generic job shop bill of material.
Line: The From and To fields define a range of: the position numbers of the generic job shop bill of material lines that must be copied.

Target

Site: The site ID of the target to which the generic job shop bill of material is copied.
Product: The product ID of the target to which the generic job shop bill of material is copied.
Version: The version number of the target to which the generic job shop bill of material is copied.

Copy Method

The method by which the generic job shop bill of material is copied.

Allowed values

Create: Creates a new layout revision for the target site and assembly line. LN copies the selected source stations and related feed-in lines to the new revision. The effective date is set to the current date. If an approved target revision exists with a future effective date, that date is used.
Overwrite: Deletes the stations and feed-in lines from the selected target layout revision and then copies the selected source stations and related feed-in lines. The target layout header is not changed.
Add: Adds the selected source stations after the existing stations in the target layout revision. LN assigns new position numbers after the highest existing position number and updates the feed-in position accordingly.

Options

Reference Designators: If this check box is selected, reference designators defined for the source generic job shop bill of material are also copied.
Alternative Materials: If this check box is selected, alternative materials defined for the source generic job shop bill of material are also copied.
Retain Constraint IDs when Creating New Version: If this check box is selected, the constraint IDs associated with the source generic job shop bill of material are retained when copying to a new version. Constraint IDs are not replaced by new constraint IDs.
BOM Text: If this check box is selected, the existing text of the source generic job shop bill of material is also copied.
