Infor LN configuration and update behavior

When Scheduler Plus is implemented, LN applies scheduler-specific rules to production order processing. These rules ensure that scheduling decisions are controlled in Scheduler Plus and that LN is updated with the approved finite-capacity schedule.

Review these Infor LN configuration and update rules when production order scheduling is determined by Scheduler Plus:

• An additional production order status, Scheduled, becomes available.
• Production orders with operations must be scheduled before they can be released.
• Scheduler Plus controls operation rescheduling and scheduled dates.
• LN planning boards are used for viewing operation information when Scheduler Plus controls scheduling.
• When results are updated to LN, scheduled start and end dates and selected resource assignments are synchronized back to production orders and operations.
