Media Details (lparg9612m000)

Use this session to view the details of the Media that is used for legal and tax reporting in the Argentina localization. You can also modify the Media data, if required.

Note: 
  • This session can be accessed only if the Argentina check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
  • You can also access this session using the Media Details option from the References menu in the Generate Media Files (lparg9232m000) session.
  • You can define the periods for the specific Media in the Period by Media (lparg9105m000) session. You can access this session using the Periods option from the References menu.

Field Information

Media Code

The Media Code that is used for legal and tax reporting in the Argentina localization.

Active

Indicates if the selected Media is active and can be used for legal and tax reporting.

Note: You can activate a specific Media using the Activate option from the Actions menu.
Local Path and File
Root Path

The path of the server where the Media File is located.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Active check box is selected.
File Name

The name of the media file.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Active check box is selected.
File Path

The complete path of the server where media file is located.

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if the Active check box is selected.
  • This path is the combination of Root Path and File Name.
Selection
Movement Type

The type of movement associated with the Media that is used to track the physical and financial flow of inventory in the Argentina localization.

Purchases
Payments
Receipts
Note: This field is enabled only if the Active check box is selected.
Data Source

The source of the data that is used to generate the media file.

Header and Detail
Note: This field is enabled only if the Active check box is selected.
Separator

If this check box is selected, a character must be specified in the Separator Char field that is used as a column separator in the Media file.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Active check box is selected.
Separator Char

The character that is used as a column separator in the Media file.

Note: This field is enabled and a value must be specified only if:
  • The Active check box is selected.
  • The Separator check box is selected.
