Dataset Modeler (ttrpidatasetm)

Use this session to to specify and maintain datasets based on the LN data model. These datasets are executable and repeatable with different parameter settings and usable as input for configuring GenAI prompts.

In the Datasets (ttrpi5100m000) session, click New to initiate a new dataset configuration and start the Dataset Configuration screen.

In the Dataset Configuration screen, configure these fields:

Field Description
Dataset Name Specify a unique name. The name can contain only lowercase letters, numbers, dots, or underscores, and must start with a letter or a number.
Description Additional information about the dataset.
Main table Select an LN table that corresponds to the main table of the target business session.
Selection Index Select an index from the list of indices associated with the selected main table. The selection index must correspond to the current view of the target business session.
Use Camel Case Select this check box to use descriptive names instead of technical names for tables and fields. The field descriptions are applied to the dataset field descriptions using Camel Case. Any manual changes are overwritten when you toggle this option.
Collection Name PostFix Specify an optional postfix for the collection name. A collection represents the complete set of selected records and corresponds to the node directly below the root node in the XML structure.
Row Name PostFix

Specify an optional postfix for the collection row name. A row represents a single record from the selected record set and is repeated within the collection node in the XML structure.

After providing all the required information and clicking OK, the screen closes and the Data Modeler opens. The Data Modeler includes these configuration panels:

  • Tables
  • Fields

  • Selected Fields

When you open an existing dataset in the Datasets (ttrpi5100m000) session, this view opens directly and the Dataset Configuration screen is skipped. To open the Dataset Configuration screen, click Dataset Configuration on the main toolbar.

Tables

This panel displays a tree structure of references for the main table.

Refers to
Lists the tables that the main table references.
