Expose to AI

The Expose to AI check box is a configurable setting in the REST API Modeler. It determines whether the entity types‘ Standard Actions - Insertable, Updatable, Deletable - and Actions are visible to and executable by AI consumers through the LN OData MCP Server.

By default, the standard action Insertable and Actions are exposed, meaning Expose to AI is selected. The standard actions Updatable and Deletable are not exposed by default, meaning Expose to AI is cleared. Developers can adjust this setting as required. At runtime, the MCP server uses these settings to exclude unexposed operations from metadata responses and prevent AI-invoked calls to restricted actions.
