BOD Subscriptions (tlesb3100m000)

The BOD subscriptions are maintained on the connection point in ION and are synchronized in LN.

Use the BOD Subscriptions (tlesb3100m000) session to view the subscriptions and specify the Priority and Process in Sequence settings for each subscription.

Priority

BOD messages received by LN are processed in order of priority, with a lower number indicating a higher priority. BOD messages of the same priority are processed in the order of their creation time (oldest first).

Note: This priority setting applies only to inbound BOD messages (i.e., messages received by LN). For outbound BOD messages (i.e., messages to be sent from LN), priorities can be specified in the Outbound BOD Priorities (tlesb1503m000) session.

After BOD handling for the tenant is converted from IO-box to IMS, priorities are assigned by default as follows:

• 10 (Very High) - for Workflow and Acknowledge BOD documents.
• 30 (High) - for all BOD documents in custom channels.
• 50 (Normal) - for all other BOD documents.

Process in Sequence

This option prevents multiple BOD messages with the same Noun/Verb from being processed in parallel, which is useful for avoiding locking issues.

After BOD handling for the tenant is converted from IO-box to IMS, process in sequence is enabled for all BOD documents, except those defined for parallel processing.
