Rules (tgbrg7500m000)

To create a rule expression (IF-part):

1. Select a rule.
2. Click Condition d'une règle to start the Text Editor.
3. Specify business functions or business processes following the IF logical operator. Leave a space between the operators and the operands, for example BF,1.
4. Close the Text Editor.

Select the Segment THEN de la règle command to create the Then part of the expression in one of these sessions:

• The Paramétrage par règle (tgbrg7117m000) session
• The Sélection de processus par règle (tgbrg7127m000) session
• The Définition des conditions statiques par règle (tgbrg7137m000) session. It depends on the rule type which of the other sessions is started.

You cannot select the Segment THEN de la règle command if the rule is of Cohérence type. In that case, the Then segment of the rule expression must be specified in the Text Editor.

You cannot change rules:

• From a derived-from version
• From another version than the current modeling version.

Using logical operators

If more than one business process or business function is incorporated in the rule expression, these must be separated by one of these logical operators:

• or
• xor
• and
• not
• (
• )

Checking and applying rules

Rules are checked ( Cohérence rule type) or applied (other rule types) in reference models and project models. Rules of Cohérence type are checked in these cases:

• If the Vérification de la cohérence du modèle de référence (tgbrg2220m000) session is activated (reference model).
• If the Vérif. de cohérence du modèle de projet (tgbrg4220m000) session is activated (project model).
