Rules (tgbrg7500m000)

To create a rule expression (IF-part):

1. Select a rule.
2. Click Condición de regla to start the Text Editor.
3. Specify business functions or business processes following the IF logical operator. Leave a space between the operators and the operands, for example BF,1.
4. Close the Text Editor.

Select the Parte de regla Then command to create the Then part of the expression in one of these sessions:

• The Definir parámetros por regla (tgbrg7117m000) session
• The Seleccionar procesos empresariales por regla (tgbrg7127m000) session
• The Definir condiciones estáticas por regla (tgbrg7137m000) session. It depends on the rule type which of the other sessions is started.

You cannot select the Parte de regla Then command if the rule is of Coherencia type. In that case, the Then segment of the rule expression must be specified in the Text Editor.

You cannot change rules:

• From a derived-from version
• From another version than the current modeling version.

Using logical operators

If more than one business process or business function is incorporated in the rule expression, these must be separated by one of these logical operators:

• or
• xor
• and
• not
• (
• )

Checking and applying rules

Rules are checked ( Coherencia rule type) or applied (other rule types) in reference models and project models. Rules of Coherencia type are checked in these cases:

• If the Comprobar coherencia de modelo de referencia (tgbrg2220m000) session is activated (reference model).
• If the Comprobar coherencia de modelo de proyecto (tgbrg4220m000) session is activated (project model).
