RFID Structure Segments (whwmd4195m000)

Use this session to define the segments of RFID structures. The segments make up the code of an RFID tag.

Field Information

RFID Structure

The ID of the RFID structure.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Segment Number

The number of the segment determines the order in which the segments are positioned in the RFID tag.

Segment Type

The type of segment.

Allowed values

Infor LN Field: The segment is an LN table field.
RFID Data Identifier: The segment is a data identifier from the data identifier set linked to the RFID structure.
Alphanumeric: The segment is a manually specified alphanumeric text.

Field Type

The type of field of the segment.

Allowed values

Handling Unit: A field from the Handling Units (whwmd5130m000) session.
Not Applicable: Field types are not used.
Company Data: A field from the tccom000 table.

If a field is added from a table, LN normally searches for the value of that field. This works differently for the DUNS Number (tccom000.duns) field.

Because the default DUNS number can be defined at the more detailed warehouse and enterprise unit levels in addition to the company level, LN searches for the default DUNS number in this order:

The Warehouses (whwmd2500m000) session, table tcmcs003
The Enterprise Units (tcemm0130m000) session, table emm030
The General Company Data (tccom0502m000) session, table tccom000

Field

The field from which the content of the segment is taken.

The description or name of the code.

Segment Value

The manually specified alphanumeric text for the segment.

Segment Length

The number of positions of the segment.
