Rental Unit Conversion Factors (tsmdm0121m000)
Use this session to view and maintain rental unit conversion factors between the base unit for rental for an item, serialized item group, or item group.
Note:
- This session is displayed only if the Equipment as a Service check box is selected on the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- You cannot modify the unit conversion factor that is approved.
Field Information
- Item

The code of the item. The conversion factor is defined at the item level.
Note:
- This field is enabled only if the value in the Serialized Item Group or Item Group field is not specified.
- • The item must be of the type, Rental Product.
- Description
- The description of the serialized item.
- Serialized Item Group

The code of the serialized item group. The conversion factor is defined at the serialized item group level.
Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Item or Item Group field is not specified.

- The description of the serialized item group.
- Item Group

The code of the item group. The conversion factor is defined at the item group level.
Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Item or Serialized Item Group field is not specified.
- Base Unit
- The base unit in which the rental rate of the item is expressed.
- Rental Unit
- The unit of measure by which the rental item is expressed.
- Conversion Factor
- The conversion factor between the base unit and rental unit.
- Inverse Value

The inverse value of the conversion factor.
Note: This value is calculated as: 1/conversion factor.
Example: If the conversion factor is 12, the inverse value is 0.08333 (1/12).

If this check box is selected, the conversion factor is approved and released.
To approve a conversion factor, select a line and click
from the menu or click the option. You can also approve multiple conversion factors together. To unapprove a conversion factor, select a line and use the option from the menu.
