Using Inspection Groups

Inspection groups are used to group multiple inspections.

You can add an Inspection Group to a reference activity in the Reference Activity (tsacm1601m000) or a rental template in the Rental Template (tsacm1601m200) session. In this scenario, the application defaults the Measurement Type from Measurement Types by Inspection Group (tsmdm0172m000) session to the Reference Activity - Measurement Types (tsacm3160m000) session.

Note:
  • If the Inspection Group are deleted from the Inspection Groups by Reference Activity (tsacm3150m000) or the Inspection Groups by Rental Template (tsacm3150m100) session, the Measurement Types linked to the inspection group in these sessions are also deleted
    • Measurement Types by Inspection Group (tsmdm0172m000)
    • Reference Activity - Measurement Types (tsacm3160m000)
  • If measurement types are added manually to the reference activity in the Reference Activity (tsacm1601m000) session, you must add the inspection groups also manually.

You can specify the Service Order Activity (tssoc2110m100), Work Order Activity (tswcs2610m000), or Rental Agreement (tssoc2610m300) session. In this scenario, the inspection groups defined for the reference activity are defaulted to the Inspection Group Sequence (tscfg2190m000) session.

Note:
  • The inspection groups are defaulted to the inspection group sequence only if the Item or Serial Number is specified in these sessions:
    • Service Order Activity (tssoc2110m100)
    • Work Order Activity (tswcs2610m000)
    • Rental Agreement (tssoc2610m300) session
Note: If the serial number is modified, the related inspections are also replaced.
  • If the inspections are created manually and linked to the inspection group, you can add an inspection group only if the inspections are related to Service Order Activity, Rental Agreement, Work Order, or Work Order Activity.
