Updating the planned on hire and off hire dates

These are the levels at which you can specify the planned on hire and planned off hire dates for an equipment:
  • Rental Order (tssoc2600m300)

    In this session, you can specify the Planned On Hire and Planned Off Hire dates for a rental order. These values can be defaulted to the linked rental agreements.

  • Rental Agreement (tssoc2610m300)

    If the Use Rental Order Rental Period check box is selected in the Rental Agreement (tssoc2610m300) session, the application defaults the Planned On Hire and Planned Off Hire dates specified for a rental order in the Rental Order (tssoc2600m300) session to the rental agreements linked to the rental order.

  • Equipment Lines (tssoc2122m100)

    If the Use Rental Agreement Rental Period check box is selected in the Equipment Lines (tssoc2122m100) session, the application defaults the On Hire and Off Hire dates specified for a rental agreement in the Rental Agreement (tssoc2610m300) session, to the equipment lines linked to the rental agreement.

You can use the Update Planned On Hire/Off Hire Dates option in:
  • The Rental Agreement (tssoc2610m300) session, to update the planned on hire and planned off hire dates of multiple agreements linked to a rental order.
  • The Equipment Lines (tssoc2122m100) session, to update the planned on hire and planned off hire dates of multiple equipment lines linked to the rental agreement.
You can select the Clear Rental Order Rental Period check box or the Clear Rental Agreement Rental Period check box in the Update Planned On Hire/Off Hire Dates window to clear the:
  • The selected agreement lines linked to a rental order. When none of the agreement lines are selected, the application updates the planned on hire and off hire dates of all the agreement lines linked to the rental order.
  • The selected equipment lines linked to an agreement. When none of the equipment lines are selected, the application updates the planned on hire and off hire dates of all the equipment lines linked to the agreement.
For equipment lines, the planned delivery date is updated when you update the planned on hire and off hire dates. The Update Planned Delivery Time check box in the Update Planned On Hire/Off Hire Dates window is selected by default as it is updated automatically when the on hire and off hire dates are updated.
Note: You can view the Update Planned On Hire/Off Hire Dates option in the Rental Agreements (tssoc2110m200) session and Equipment Lines (tssoc2122m100) session only if these sessions are accessed as satellite sessions.
