Application for Payment Lines (tpppc6131m000)
Use this session to view and maintain the application for payment lines data. The scope line data is copied to the AFP lines. All the AFP line types are copied except for the description only. You cannot create or copy a new AFP line.
This session is displayed as a satellite session in the Application for Payment (tpppc6630m000) session.
- This session is displayed only if the Application for Payment check box is selected in the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session.
- You can modify the certified details only if the Customer Assessment Complete check box is selected in the Application for Payment (tpppc6630m000) session.

- Application for Payment
- The code of the application for payment linked to the scope document line.
- Number
- The line number of the AFP.
- Status

The status of the AFP.
Allowed values
- Free
- The initial status of the AFP.
- Initiated
- After specifying the required AFP data the status of the AFP can be set to Initiated.
- Ready to Submit
- When the status is set to Complete the application set the status to Ready to Submit.
- Submitted
- After the AFP is sent to the customer for assessment, the status can be set to Submitted.
- Post Assessment Review
- If the AFP has a Payless Amount (the certified amount is less than the applied amount), the contractor can ask for a review of the assessment. In such a case, the certified values as received from the customer can be specified. However, the status must be set to Post Assessment Review.
- Certified
- After the customer specifies the certified amount or quantity for the AFP line, the status can be set to Certified.
- Canceled
- When the AFP is canceled, this status is applicable.
- Closed
- When the installment is created for the AFP, the application sets the status of the AFP to closed.

- Quantity and Rate, you can specify the Quantity and Unit Cost.

- The currency in which the Sales Price is expressed.

Note:
- This field is enabled only if the status of the related AFP is set to Free or Initiated in the Application for Payment (tpppc6630m000) session.
- This value cannot exceed the value specified in the Sales Amount or Capped Amount fields for the related scope document line in the Scope Document Lines (tpctm6601m000) session.
- This value is defaulted from the preceding AFP and can be modified, if required.
- Previously Billed Materials at Site

The value of the materials that are billed in the previous periods. This value is used to determine the net value of materials for billing, ensuring that only unclaimed material is included for billing purposes.
Note:
- This field is enabled only if the status of the related AFP is set to Free or Initiated in the Application for Payment (tpppc6630m000) session.
- This value is defaulted with the value specified in the Materials at Site field and can be modified, if required.
- You cannot set this field to a value greater than the value specified in the Materials at Site field.

The total value of the materials available at the project site. The net value is calculated using this formula:
Net Applied Materials at Site = Materials at Site (Applied) - Previously Billed Materials at Site

The value of the consumed materials that are billed in the previous period. When material is consumed for work at a project site, it is specified as progress on the subsequent AFP lines. The material that is specified in the previous AFP as materials at site and consumed at the project site is displayed in this field.
If the AFP Number is set to 1, this value is set to 0. From the second AFP onwards, this value is calculated using this formula:
Previously Billed Materials Consumed = Materials at Site value of preceding AFP (current AFP Number – 1) – Previously Billed Materials at Site (current AFP Number)

- The value of the holdback amount. To calculate this value, the holdback percentage is applied to the certified amount of the current period of the AFP.

- This value is calculated as the sum of Previously Billed Materials Consumed of all AFPs till the previous AFP. The previous AFP is the Current AFP-1 till date.
- Total Certified
- This value is calculated as the sum of Total Certified of all AFPs till the previous AFP. The previous AFP is the Current AFP-1 till date.
- Payless Materials at Site
- This value is calculated as the difference between Net Applied Materials at Site and Net Certified Materials at Site, till previous AFP. The previous AFP is the Current AFP-1 till date.
- Consumption Variance
- This value is calculated as the difference between Applied Materials Consumed and Net Certified Materials Consumed, till previous AFP. The previous AFP is the Current AFP-1 till date.
- Payless Total
- This value is calculated as the difference between Total Applied and Total Certified, till previous AFP. The previous AFP is the Current AFP-1 till date.
