Using MAS for scope of work

You can specify the MAS for each scope document line. If materials are purchased in bulk and are not linked to a specific scope line, you can also create a scope document line to report MAS value only. For example, in infrastructure or building construction, materials like cement or steel are used across multiple scope lines. In such cases, you can create a scope document line to track the value of the MAS.

You can select the Materials at Site Only check box in the Scope Document Lines (tpctm6601m000) session to specify the value of the MAS in the Capped Amount field. To report MAS values, you can create scope document lines with these values:

Cost Type: Materials or Composite
Line Type: Amount Only

Note: The value of the MAS is not included in the scope amount of the scope document.
