Data setup
You must define the parameters required to set up the contract data in the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session.
To create contracts and contract lines (CLIN), you must define:
- Business partners (customers) in the Sold-to Business Partners (tccom4510m000) session.
- Payment terms in the Payment Terms (tcmcs0113s000) session and payment methods in the Payment/Receipt Methods (tfcmg0540m000) session.
- Project specific sales offices in the Project Contract Settings by Sales Office (tpctm0505m000) session.
- Sites in the Sites (tcemm0150m000) session.
- Various phases of the contract in the Phases (tppdm0147m000) session
To create contract deliverables, you must define:
- Items in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session.
- Warehouses in the Warehouses (whwmd2500m000) session.
- Sites in the Sites (tcemm0150m000) session.
To use contract invoicing, you must define:
- Invoicing methods in the Invoicing Methods (tcmcs0555m000) session.
- Tax codes in the Tax Codes by Country (tcmcs0536m000) session.
- Project activities in the Activities (tppss2100m000) session.
- Project elements in the Elements (tpptc1100m000) session.
- Revenue codes in the Assign Elements and Activities to Revenue Codes (tppin0820m000) session.
