Data setup
You can use the variation request functionality for scope documents only if the Scope Variations Applicable check box is selected in the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session.
Note: The Scope Variations Applicable check box is enabled only if the Scope Of Work check box is selected in the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session.
In the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session, you can:
- Specify a default number series that is used to create a variation request for a scope document.
- Select the Process Variation Requests Automatically check box to process the approved variation requests automatically.
You can also enable this functionality for a sales office by selecting the Scope Variations Applicable check box in the Project Contract Settings by Sales Office (tpctm0505m000) session. The application considers the settings defined in this session. Else, the settings defined in the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session are considered.
