You can define a budget structure based on the project requirements. You can also customize a budget structure based on the organization, location, nature of the project and so on. The budget structure can be defined based on:

• Elements
• Activities
• Cost Objects: The budget structure can be based on these cost objects:
  • Material
  • Equipment
  • Labor
  • Subcontracting
  • Sundry cost
• Cost Components: The budget structure can be based on pre-defined cost components.
• Extensions: The extension budgets are used along with element or activity budgets.
• Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS)
