CPQ Configuration Templates

The configuration templates are created in CPQ Configurator Designer to prescribe that attributes can be sent to Infor LN.

Only the attributes specified in the template are used to create an item structure.

Note: 
  • These settings must be same as the settings defined in the CPQ configurator.
  • The templates can be created or updated only if the Configurations by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom01000s000) session.

Product Set of templates

The templates that are created or updated if the if the Configurations by Site field is set to Active or In Preparation in the Implemented Software Components (tccom01000s000) session. The templates are:

  • Product
  • Product Options
  • Product by Site
  • Job Shop Bill of Material
  • Job Shop Material
  • Job Shop Material Alternative
  • Job Shop Material Reference Designator
  • Job Shop Routing
  • Job Shop Routing Operation
  • Job Shop Operation Step
  • Job Shop Operation Instruction
  • Job Shop Operation Process Variable
  • Job Shop Phantom Routing Relationship
  • Product Subcontracting Model
  • Subcontracting Material

These templates are added for Assembly items:

  • Assembly BOM
  • Assembly BOM Features and Options

MFG Set of templates

The templates that are created if the Configurations by Site field is set to Inactive in the Implemented Software Components (tccom01000s000) session. The templates are:

  • MFG Material
  • MFG Material Features and Options
  • Alternative Material
  • Reference Designator for BOM
  • MFG Operation
  • Operation Steps for Operation
  • Operation Step Instructions for Operation
  • Operation Process Variables for Operation
  • Operation Setup Classes and States
  • Operation Phantom Routing Relationship

These templates are added for Assembly items:

  • Assembly BOM
  • Assembly BOM Features and Options
