Replace Item in Production Bill of Material (timfc3200m300)

Use this session to replace items in the production bill of material with a new item.

A report is printed containing the changes made in this session.

Note:

If an item in a production bill of material with the status Approved and Expired is replaced, a new revision of the production bill of material is generated with the status New.
To use this session the Job Shop by Site parameter in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m000) session must be set to Active or In Preparation.

Field Information

Item to be Replaced: The material or component to be replaced.
Replacement Item: The material or component with which the item will be replaced.
Use Up Inventory: If this check box is selected, the current inventory is used up before issuing for the replacement item.
Note: The material to be replaced is displayed in the Replaces Item field in the Use Up section, in the Production Bill of Material Line Details (timfc3610m000) session.
From Product: The product range for which the item is replaced.
Revision: The revision range for which the item is replaced.
