Print Engineering BOM (tiedm1410m000)

Use this session to print single, multilevel, and summarized engineering BOM (EBOM).

Note: The structure of an EBOM is similar to that of a PBOM.

Field Information

Print

Print BOM selection

Select the type of BOM for printing.

Allowed values

Single-Level

If this value is selected the Engineering BOM (Single - Level) (tiedm141001000) is printed.

Multilevel

If this value is selected the Engineering BOM (Multilevel) (tiedm141101000) is printed.

Summarized

If this value is selected the Summarized Multilevel EBOM (tiedm141201000) or Summarized Multilevel EBOM (Sorted by dimensions) (tiedm141202000) is printed containing only the raw materials needed.

Summarized EBOMs contain only the purchased items, all the intermediate levels are left out of the printed report.

Note:

When the value Summarized is selected the following fields are not available:

The following fields are only available when the value Summarized is selected:

From/To Engineering Item

Enter the range of dates when the EBOM is valid.

Order Quantity

The lot size.

Configuration

If you are using unit effectivity, you can use this field to specify that only EBOM lines with certain effectivity units will be printed on the report.

Print E-Item Texts and Item Texts

If this check box is selected, LN will print the texts recorded for the components of the EBOM.

Note: You can select in which language the texts are printed by entering a code into the Language for Texts field.

Print EBOM Texts

If this check box is selected, LN will print the texts recorded for the EBOMs.

Note: You can select in which language the texts are printed by entering a code into the Language for Texts field.

Effectivity Unit

Use this field to select an effectivity unit. Only EBOM lines with the selected effectivity unit will be printed on the report.

Note: This field is only available if the Configuration field is Specific.

Language for Texts

Enter the code for the language in which you want to print the texts for the EBOMs that you have selected.

Note: If none of the check boxes for printing texts are selected, you cannot enter a code.

Print Reference Designators

If this check box is selected, the reference designators that are linked to the engineering BOM are printed in the report.

Alternative Item

If this check box is selected, the alternative materials that are linked to the engineering BOM are printed in the report.

Use Up Material

If this check box is selected, the use-up materials that are linked to the engineering BOM are printed in the report.

Sort by Component Dimensions

If this check box is selected, LN sorts the items by item dimension (length and width).

Note: You can define the length and width in the Engineering Bill of Material (tiedm1110m000) session.
