Received Job Shop BOM - Alternative Materials (tibom5116m000)
Use this session to view all the alternative material lines of the job shop bill of material (BOM) lines received from Product Lifecyle Management (PLM).
Note: This session can be accessed only if:
- The Engineering Revisions check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Job Shop by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Originating App field is set to PLM (Internal) or PLM (external) in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session.
Field Information
- Site
- The code of the site where the job shop bill of material is used.
- Product
- The code of the product associated with the job shop bill of material received from PLM.
- Source Model
- The ID of the source bill of material (BOM) from which the job shop bill of material is received.
- Source Revision
- The revision number of the source bill of material (BOM) that is received.
- Position
- The position number of the bill of material line.
- Alternative Position
- The position number of the alternative material line associated with the job shop bill of material line.
- Alternative Priority

The alternative priority determines which of the alternatives is selected first.
Allowed values
- Use up
- This is an outdated material (use-up material) that must be used up first.
- Original
- The standard item is used as the alternative material.
- 1
- The alternative that is selected if the inventory of the standard material (and the use-up material, if any) is insufficient.

- The alternative that is selected if the inventory of the standard material and the first alternative material (and the use-up material, if any) is insufficient.

- Lower priority alternative materials.
