Archive / Delete Financial Transactions (tfgld6205m000)

Use this session to archive or delete finalized financial transactions from the General Ledger, based on the value of the Store Data for X Years field in the Group Company Parameters (tfgld0101s000) session. Only transactions older than the last finally closed fiscal year, are archived or deleted.

Note: When you archive or delete the financial transactions, the related split costs that are linked to a financial document, are also deleted, in these sessions:

Split Project Costs (tfacp7111m100)
Split PCS Project Costs (tfacp7112m100)
Split Service Costs (tfacp7113m100)

Field Information

Up to / including Fiscal Year

The fiscal year up to which the financial transactions must be archived or deleted.

Common

If this check box is selected, LN archives the general data from Common .

Financials

If this check box is selected, LN archives the master data from Financials .

Type of Process

Select the process you want to perform.

To archive the data and delete the data, select Archive and Delete.

If no archive company is defined in the Finance Company Parameters (tfgld0503m000) session, you can only select Delete Only.

Original Company

The code of the company for which archiving is done.

The description or name of the code.

Archive-to Company

The archive company to which the data is transferred.

Note:

This is a display field.
LN defaults this value from the Archive-to Company field in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) session.

If this check box is selected, LN archives the texts related to the master data.

Overwrite Text

If this check box is selected, LN overwrites the texts related to the master data.
