Copy Year (tfgld0206m000)

Use this session to to copy the complete setup of a (current) year to a new year. It is also possible to automatically generate the period statuses for the new year using the Generate Period Statuses (tfgld0207m000) session.

Note:

The Year Description and end dates are overwritten in case the Year already exists.
Periods and Period Statuses are not overwritten in case they already exist.

Field Information

Year

The From and To fields define a range of: years the data is copied for.

Description

The description or name of the code.

End Date of Last Fiscal Period

The final date of the last fiscal period of the To Year.

End Date of Last Reporting Period

The final date of the last reporting period of the To Year.

Note: The last end date of the reporting period is the same as the last end date of the fiscal period.

End Date of Last Tax Period

The final date of the last tax period of the To Year.

Generate Period Statuses

If this check box is selected, the period statuses of all the companies in the group are created including the To Year.

Note: In case the period statuses are handled by each financial company, you can use Generate Period Statuses (tfgld0207m000) session to generate the period status.

Period Status

The option to choose whether period statuses are created with status Open or Closed.

Allowed values

Open: Indicates that one or more modules status is 'Open'.
Closed: Indicates that one or more modules status is 'Closed' and no module status is 'Open'.
Finally Closed: Indicates that all the modules status is 'Finally Closed'.
