Inventory Tracking Unit (tcitu1600m000)
Use this session to view the details of an inventory tracking unit. An inventory tracking unit (ITU) includes the inventory in a specific location in which inventory is received and consumed. The receipts are associated with one or more inventory tracking units. The issues are associated with consumptions based on data identified in inventory tracking units.
Field Information
- Inventory Tracking Unit
- The code of the inventory tracking unit.
- Status

The status of the inventory tracking unit.
Allowed values
- Created
- The initial status of a manually created inventory tracking unit.
- Open
-
The initial status of an automatically created inventory tracking unit.
For example, an inventory tracking unit is automatically created when received inventory is put away in inventory.
- Consumed
-
The inventory tracking unit is fully received and all inventory is consumed, thus the available quantity and the quantity to be received is 0 (zero).
A new inventory tracking receipt can be linked to this inventory tracking unit, which will reopen the inventory tracking unit.
- Closed
-
The inventory tracking unit is no longer used.
If the available quantity is 0, you can set consumed inventory tracking units to Closed. You can close inventory tracking units in the Inventory Tracking Units (tcitu1100m000) and Inventory Tracking Unit (tcitu1600m000) sessions.
- Direct Delivery

If this check box is selected,, the inventory tracking unit is linked to a direct delivery.

If this check box is selected,, the quantities of the inventory tracking unit can be negative.

- Quarantine Inventory

If this check box is selected,, the inventory tracking unit is linked to inventory in quarantine.

If this check box is selected,, inventory is registered for the current item.
If this check box is cleared, the item is a physical cost or service items. Inventory is not registered for cost and service items. Consequently, quantities are not maintained for cost and service items.

If this check box is selected, the inventory tracking unit is linked to an individual receipt line. Aggregation of multiple receipts in one inventory tracking unit is not allowed.

- The code of the effectivity unit of the item.
- Serialized in Inventory

Indicates whether the item is serialized in inventory.
Note: If this check box is selected, Infor LN allows you to access the multiple serialized items that are received from an inventory tracking receipt.
- Lot Controlled in Inventory

Indicates whether the item is lot controlled.
Note: If this check box is selected, Infor LN allows you to access the multiple lot controlled items that are received from an inventory tracking receipt.

- The available quantity of the ITU expressed in the inventory unit.
- Customs Unit of Measure
- The unit of measure applicable for the item as specified by the Customs Department.
- To be Received
- The quantity of the ITU to be received, expressed in the inventory unit.
- Received
- The quantity of the ITU that is received, expressed in the inventory unit.
- To be Consumed
- The quantity of ITU to be consumed in the inventory unit.
- Consumed
- The quantity of ITU to be issued, expressed in the inventory unit.
- Warehouse

The code of the warehouse associated with the inventory tracking unit.
Note: The value in this field is applicable only if the Location Level is set to Warehouse.

Inventory movements between warehouses located at different sites will create or update the inventory tracking units.

- Registration Number
- The tax registration number linked to the registration code or financial company of the ITU.
- Planned Receipt Date
- The date on which the items are expected to be received.
- Actual Receipt Date
- The date on which the items are received.
- Final Receipt

Indicates that this is the final receipt which is reviewed on the receipt line and no additional receipts are generated.
Note: The expected quantity received is equal to the actual amount received.
- Ordered Quantity
- The ordered quantity, expressed in the order unit.
- Sequence

- Type of Receipt

The type of the receipt indicates whether the inventory tracking unit is linked to the first receipt by which the item is originally received in the country or other legal entity, or to a subsequent receipt. For details, see Inventory tracking by receipt.
Allowed values
- Initial Receipt
- The original receipt with which the item was received in the country or other legal entity.
- Subsequent Receipt
- A follow-up receipt, with which the item - after the initial receipt, consumption, and new receipt - was received into an entity that is not a legal entity, such as a site.
- Not Applicable
- Inventory tracking by receipt not implemented.
- Initial Company
- The code of the logistic company associated with the initial inventory tracking unit.
- Initial Inventory Tracking Unit
- The inventory tracking unit linked to the initial receipt with which the inventory was received in the country or other legal entity. For details, see Inventory tracking by receipt.
- Previous Company

The code of the logistic company associated with the previous inventory tracking unit from where the goods are issued.
Note: This value is mandatory if:
- The ITU Status is set to Received.
- The Type of Receipt field is set to Subsequent Receipt.
