Create Rental Products (tcibd0202m100)
Use this session to create items of type, Rental Product, for a set of items of the type, Product.
Note: You can use a rental product in this session only if:
- The Equipment as a Service check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
- The Rental functionality is implemented in the Custom Parameters (tcmcs0195m000) session for a Module.
Field Information

- Selection Range
- Use the fields in the Selection Range group box to specify the range products for which the rental products must be created.
- Options

- Item Code Suffix
-
The suffix used to create the code of the Rental Product. The suffix is added to the Product code to create the code of the related Rental Product.
Note: This value is defaulted from the Suffix for Rental Product field in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session.
- Simulation

If this check box is selected, you can simulate the creation of rental products. The result doesn’t get saved, but a process report will be created.
Note: By default, this check box is selected.
- Process Report

If this check box is selected, you can print the list of rental items that are created.
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Simulation check box is cleared.
