When a shipment is canceled, the related ITU consumption must also be removed because the inventory is not actually shipped but exists in the originating warehouse.

This indicates that you must also reduce the To be Consumed Quantity of the ITU consumption field in the Inventory Tracking Units (tcitu1100m000) session.
