Consumptions in unbalanced scenarios

When the goods are in the warehouse physically but none, or insufficient inventory tracking units are available for consumption, balancing is required to create inventory tracking units for the entire inventory.

In general, this is unlikely to occur after the activation of the Country of Origin concept has been completed.

During the activation process, however, when the balancing process has not yet been completed for the entire inventory, the absence of inventory tracking units from which to issue inventory would stop the issuing process and thus interrupt the outbound goods flow of your organization. This is because negative inventory for inventory tracking units is not allowed.

To prevent the issuing process from being stopped, the Issue Allowed without Consumption check box in the Inventory Tracking Parameters (tcitu0100m100) session is automatically selected during the activation process.
