Inventory tracking consumption

Inventory tracking consumptions are used to issue the inventory linked to the inventory tracking units.

An ITU consumption includes the information related to the consumption transaction and the ITU.

The inventory tracking consumptions are created automatically when the inventory tracking unit can be determined by LN based on the consumed inventory, for example, if the available inventory has only one country of origin..

If the available inventory has multiple countries of origin, you must manually select the inventory tracking unit to be consumed.

Inventory tracking consumptions are performed when goods are issued through outbound processes, negative inventory adjustments, direct deliveries, and so on.

Consumptions are not created for goods movements within the location and ownership tracking levels defined for the inventory tracking unit. The inventory tracking location and ownership tracking levels are defined in the Inventory Tracking Parameters (tcitu0100m100) and Inventory Tracking Parameters by Country (tcitu0110m000) sessions.
