Using COO for sales orders

Tracking the COO of an item in a sales order enables you to provide information regarding product origins, certifications, and associated regulations. For a sales order, the COO can be specified after the sales order line is released to Warehousing.

You can use the Country of Origin option from the References menu in the Outbound Advice (whinh4525m000) session to access the Order Line (tcitu2600m000) session, wherein you can specify the COO in the Expected field.

You can also specify the COO for the items linked to outbound order lines after the picking list is created in the Picking List (whinh4525m100) session. You can use the Inventory Tracking Unit Selection option from the Actions menu to access the Inventory Tracking Unit Selection (tcitu3600m100) session, wherein you can specify the allocated quantity against each inventory tracking unit with a different COO.

After the shipment is confirmed, you can view the COO information by selecting the Country of Origin option from the References menu in the Shipment Lines (whinh4131m000) session. If more than one COO exists for a shipment, you can select the Details option in the Shipment Line (tcitu3100m500) session to access the Shipment Line (tcitu3600m500) session, wherein you can view the quantities consumed and each COO against an ITU line.

In the Inventory Tracking Unit (tcitu1600m000) session, you can view the inventory tracking unit created for the sales order line. You can select an order line and click the Go to Details option to access the Inventory Tracking Consumption (tcitu3610m000) session, wherein you can view the COO and the sales order information.

The COO specified on the shipment line or the sales order line is defaulted to the sales invoice report. If more than one COO exists, all are displayed on the sales invoice line.
