Linked documents
Linked documents help determine where a price book or discount schedule is linked. The Linked Document sessions (Price Book Linked Documents or Discount Schedule Linked Documents) are used to view the documents to which a Price Book or Discount Schedule is linked.
Price books can be linked to these documents:
- Default Sales Price Book (Sales Office Pricing Settings)
- Default Service Price Book (Service Office Pricing Settings)
- Supplier Price Book (Pricing Procurement Settings by Site)
- Pricing Parameters
- Price Matrix
- Sales Contract Line
- Sales Contract Line Price
- Purchase Contract Line Price
- RFQ Response
Discount schedules can be linked at the following documents:
- Discount Matrix
- Price Book Line
- Sales Contract Line
- Sales Contract Line Price
- Purchase Contract Line Price
- RFQ Response
When a price book or discount schedule is specified for one of these entities, a line is created with the linked document sessions. When the link to a Price Book or Discount Schedule is deleted, the linked document line is also deleted.
