Production Orders (plsch2100m000)
Use this session to view the production orders associated with a scenario.
Field Information
- Scenario
- The code of the scenario.
- Priority
- The priority assigned to the production order. Manually entered Production orders can be assigned a priority ranging from 1 (highest priority) to 9 (no priority).
- Status
-
The status of the production order.
Allowed values
- To Do
-
The production order operations is created. Work on the Production order operations can start immediately, without any restrictions. The status can be manually changed to Delayed or Postponed.
Work on the production order can start immediately, without any restrictions. When this status is changed, the status of all the production operation order steps associated with the production operation order and the linked production orders can also be modified. The status can be manually set to Delayed or Postponed.
- Partially To Do
-
The production order operations has started.
The status can be manually changed to To Do, Postponed or Delayed.
- Delayed
-
Work on the production order cannot start until the specified date.
The status can be manually set to To Do or Postponed, owning to factors such as authorizations to start production, normal pre-production delays, or delivery of special raw materials.
- Postponed
-
Work on the production order is to be postponed by a fixed time from the scheduled start date at each schedule calculation.
The time period by which a production order is postponed is determined by the Earliest Starting Time for Postponed production orders specified in the System Parameters (plsch0100m000) session.
The status can be manually set to To Do or Delayed.
- In Process
-
Work is In Process for the production order. The associated production order operations are set to In Process, To Do, or Completed status.
The production order is set to this status by the application, when the production feedback is specified on the work teams of the production order operations associated with the production order.
- Partially in Process
-
At least one production order step of the production order has the In Process or Suspended status.
A production order can be set to this status only if the associated production order step is set to Suspended or Delayed status.
- To Restart
-
The production order that has been previously suspended is scheduled by the application.
Orders with the Suspended or Partially to Restart status only, can be manually set to this status.
- Partially to Restart
-
The application sets the order to the status based on the status of the associated Production Order Operations.
At least one production order step in the production order has the To Restart status and at least one production order step has the Suspended or Completed status.
- Suspended
-
Work on the production order cannot be started until the specified date.
production orders with these status can be Suspended:
- In Process
- Partially in Process
- To Restart
- Partially to Restart
- Completed
-
Work on all Production Order Operations associated with the production order has been completed.
production orders with these status can be Completed:
- In Process
- Partially in Process
- To Restart
- Partially to Restart
However, this is not recommended. The status changes automatically as production feedback is done on work teams of the Production Order Operations.
A production order can be completed even if the quantity produced is lesser than the total quantity ordered.
- Recommended
-
Indicates the production order is entered into the database by the Synchronized MRP Engine and has not yet been confirmed.
You can change the status to To Do and confirm the production order. You can also change the status to Delayed and Postponed.
- Production Order
- The code of the production order.
- Item
- The code of the item for which the production order is created.
- Site
- The code of the site linked to the item.
- Warehouse
- The code of the warehouse linked to the item.
- Total Quantity
- The total quantity to be produced for the production order. This quantity equals to the To Process quantity when the production is yet to start.
- To Process Quantity
-
The quantity to be produced for the Production order. If production is initiated for the order, this quantity remains yet to be produced (as calculated from production feedback specified for Production Order Operations of the Production order).
This value must be specified manually when the production order is created. As the production progresses, the value is updated automatically by the application.
This value is the quantity ordered for the line item if the order is created for a make-to-order customer order line item and this value cannot be modified.
- Processed Quantity
- The quantity that is produced for the production order. This value is automatically updated from production feedback for operations in the production order.
- Quantity Unit
- The unit in which the quantity is expressed.
- Planned Start Date
- The date on which the production is planned to commence, as determined by the Production Planner.
- Planned End Date
- The date on which the production is planned to be completed by the Production Planner.
- Scheduled Start Date
- The production start date as defined by the Scheduling Engine. Scheduled dates are calculated based on various manufacturing constraints, such as the availability of resources, setup times, production rates, completion of operations, planned dates, efficient use of resources, reduction of setups and reduction of work in process.
- Scheduled End Date
- The production end date defined by the Scheduling Engine.
- Linked Production Order
- The code of the linked production order, if existing.
- Linked Production Order Operation
- The operation number associated with the linked production order.
- Status Date
- The date and time when the status of the production order is updated.
- In-Process Quantity
- The quantity of items that are currently in production on the shop floor for the Production order operations.
- Initial Date
- The original planned end date specified when the production order is created. However this date can be modified by the Scheduling Engine or another user.
- Exclude from Scheduling
-
Indicates if the production order is excluded from the scheduling run when a new schedule is generated.
- Project
-
The code of the project linked to the production order.
Note: This field is displayed only if a project is attached to the Production order.
- Routing
- The code of the routing.
- Revision
- Description
- BOM Model
- The model number of the bill of material, if existing.
- BOM Revision
- The revision number of the bill of material.
- Multi Quantity UOM
- Schedule Start Date Backup
