Duration From

Duration To
The default setup time that is required to shift to a setup state from another, in the class.
Gradation Level
The value assigned to the setup state in the setup class. This value is used to arrange the setup states in the order specified in the Gradation Type field. Recommended to assign numbers with increments greater than 1, so that new states can be inserted, if required.

In multiple setup environments, an order is defined for the setups. Setup states that change less frequently have higher gradation values and increments. Setup states that change more frequently have smaller values and increments.

Example: COLOR and GAUGE the two setup classes defined for a product. Changing color is far more complex and time-consuming than changing gauge.

The setup states in the COLOR class have gradation values starting at 100 with an increment of 100 between each state. The setup states in the GAUGE class start at 10 with and increments of 10. The Synchronized Scheduling Engine considers the GAUGE state ten time more easier to change than a COLOR state.

Color Code
The color code used for the gradation level.
