Field Information
- Scenario
- The code of the scenario.
- Setup Class
- The code of the setup class such as length, weight and so on.
- Setup Weight
- The weight assigned to setup states in the setup class. This value is used for scheduling purpose.
- Gradation Weight
- The weight assigned to the gradation order in the setup class for scheduling.
- Default Duration
- The default setup time required to shift from one setup state to another, in the setup class. If the shifting of all setup states takes the same setup time, a default value for the setup time must be specified. This value is considered by the Scheduling Engine for a change of state, in the class.
- Default Duration Unit

Allowed values
- Seconds

- Days
- Weeks
- Reset Duration
-
The time required for resetting a setup class to the default setup state.
If this value is specified for the dependent setup class type, an additional setup time can be scheduled to shift to another setup state.

- Sequence
-
The number assigned to a setup class. The number indicates the order in which setups are scheduled for an operation, when different resources are required to perform the setup.
Note: This value is useful to schedule setups that can be performed with the same resources.
Example: There are two setup classes:
Setup Class Sequence Number COLOR 1 WIDTH 2 For the two setups, same resources are used. Therefore, specifying an order helps the Engine to always schedule the setup in a sequential manner.
- Gradation Type
-
The type of gradation order. The Scheduling Engine considers this value for the evaluation of setup state changes, in the setup class.
Note: Gradation value is a assigned to Setup states in a setup. The gradation type for setup states in a class can be:
Allowed values
- None
- There is no preferred direction of change from one setup state to another in the setup class and the Synchronized Scheduling Engine does not consider setup optimization.
- Ascending
- It is easier to shift to a state with a higher gradation value than to a state with a lower gradation value.
- Descending
- It is easier to shift to a state with a lower gradation value than to a state with a higher gradation value.
- Bidirectional
- It is easier to shift to a setup state with a higher gradation value or lower gradation value.
- Schedule Setup Teams
-
Indicates if a specific setup team is created and a setup time scheduled, by the Scheduling Engine.
- Setup Response Default
-
- Employee Used
-
Indicates how an employee is used in setup states of the setup class when the Setup Response feature is activated. Consequently the employee can be utilized to perform work in the setup class but the setup state of the employee does not change.
- Machine Used
-
Indicates to the Scheduling Engine how a machine is used by default, in setup states of the setup class.
The machine is utilized in the setup state of the setup class but the setup state of the machine does not change.
- Machine State
-
Indicates to the Scheduling Engine how a machine are used by default, in setup states in the setup class when the Setup Response feature is activated.
The machine is utilized in the setup state of the setup class and the machine changes from setup to another.
- Tool Used
-
Indicates how a tool is used by default, in setup states in the setup class when the Setup Response feature is activated.
The tool is utilized in setup states of the setup class but the setup state of the tool does not change.
- Tool State
-
Indicates how a tool is used by default in setup states of the setup class when the Setup Response feature is activated.
The tool is utilized in setup states of the setup class but the setup state of the tool does not change.
