Resource Plan (plaps8505m100)

Use this session to compare schedules of similar resources at different sites. You can identify the resources that are overloaded. You can also view the capacity by which the resources are overloaded.

You can filter the data in the graph and grid based on a specific Site, Resource or both. The sites and resources are displayed in a tree structure, categorized by site. You can select more than one site and resources to view the related resource plans.

Resource Plan – Graph

The graph displays the resource plan of the selected resources for a specific time period. The resource plan is displayed as series of colored time blocks for which the start and end dates are mapped with the calendar periods.

Note: You can hover over a colored block to view the information related to the resource plan.

You can right-click on the graph and select various views using the View menu.

The legends in the graphs are changes based on the selected view.

Resource Plan Options

You can click Options to access the Resource Plan Options (plaps0189m000) session wherein you can view and maintain various settings related to the data displayed for a resource plan.

Resource Plan Graph Data- Grid

This grid displays information related to the production order steps related to the resources (machines or work centers) in the graph data based on the selected site or resource.

You can use the Excel option to export the data for the selected site or resources.

These options are available when you right-click a plan item:

  • Items: Allows you to access the Plan Item (plaps1635m000) session, wherein you can view the information related to the selected plan item.
  • Forecast: Allows you to access the Forecast (plaps8410m000) session, wherein you can view the forecast scenario for the selected site.
  • Dependent View: Allows you to access the Dependent Demand View (plaps8410m100) session, wherein you can view the dependent demand order quantity for items in a graphical view.
  • Independent View: Allows you to access the Independent Demand View (plaps8410m200) session, wherein you can view the actual and forecast demand orders for the selected item in a graphical view.
  • MPS View: Allows you to access the MPS View (plaps8005m000) session, wherein you can view the master plan based on the demand plan (constrained or unconstrained), the supply plan (constrained or unconstrained), and the projected inventory balances and target inventory for the selected plan item.
  • Inventory Overview: Allows you to access the Inventory Overview (plaps8002m000) session, wherein you can view the time-phased projected inventory for the selected plan item.
  • Resource Utilization: Allows you to access the Resource Utilization (plaps8505m000) session, wherein you can view the capacity usage over a time period of specific resources for the selected plan item.
