Independent Demand View (plaps8410m200)
Use this session to view the actual and forecast demand orders for the selected item in a graphical view.
Independent demand refers to the demand for items that is not related to the demand for other items. Examples of independent demand include demand for finished goods and demand forecasts.
Independent Demand View – Filters
You can filter the list of items by planner, buyer, site, or warehouse. All items linked to the specified planner, buyer, site, or warehouse are displayed in the All Independent Demand Order Items section. The items are displayed in a tree structure, categorized by site. You can select a site to view items linked to the site. The warehouse linked to the item is displayed along with the item details. You can right click an item for the detail view, inventory overview, and MPS view.
Independent Demand View – Graph
The Actual & Forecast Demand Orders graph consists of two axes. The horizontal axis displays the dates for which the item quantity is displayed.
The vertical axis displays the quantity related information of the item selected in the All Independent Demand Order Items section. The quantity information related to the Forecast Demand Orders is plotted as a line, and you can hover over a point to view the quantity of the forecast demand orders linked to the selected item. The quantity information related to the actual demand orders is plotted as a bar graph, and you can hover over the bar to view the quantity of the actual demand orders linked to the selected item.
Independent Demand View – Grid
The Independent Demand Orders by Item grid displays the demand orders which have independent demand for the item selected in the All Independent Demand Order Items section. For each demand order, you can view the lateness in the grid.
Independent Demand View – Consolidated View
You can enable the consolidated view of the average lateness and quantity bounce rate of the selected item. The average lateness associated with the selected item during the year is displayed in the top pane. The percentage of quantity increased in the year for the selected item is displayed in the bottom pane.
Independent Demand View – Options
You can use the Independent View Options (plaps0188m000) session to define the default settings for the scenario, start date, and duration, based on which the plan items are filtered in the Independent Demand View (plaps8410m200) session. You can also select the color legend for the entities displayed in the Actual & Forecast Demand Orders graph.
