Planning Constraints (plaps3504m000)
Use this session to view the planning constraints that limit the planning of the production flow. Planning constraints can be defined for material, capacity, and time-based constraints and linked to a SO step.
Field Information
- Scenario
- The code of the scenario to which the planning constraint line is linked.
- Description
- The description of the scenario.
- Planning Constraint
- The code of the planning constraint.
- Requested Date
- The date and time at which the constrained item or resource are required to avoid causing a constraint.
- Available Date
- The date and time at which the constrained item or resource is available.
- Used Date
- The date and time at which the constrained item or resource is used.
- Total Quantity
- The total quantity of the linked plan item.
- Constraint Type
-
The type of constraint that shows how an item or a resource constrains the production flow.
Allowed values
- Material
- A planning or scheduling constraint due to material unavailability.
- Capacity
- A planning or scheduling constraint due to resource unavailability.
- Time
- A planning or scheduling constraint due to the delay of an order.
- Multiple
- Multiple constraints are applicable.
- None
- None of the constraints are applicable.
- SO Step
- The SO step for which the planning constraint is defined.
- Plan Item
- The plan item linked to the planning constraint.
- Resource
- The resource linked to the planning constraint.
