Inventory Overview Options (plaps0182m000)
Use this session to view and maintain various settings related to the data displayed in the Inventory Overview (plaps8002m000) session. The Inventory Overview (plaps8002m000) session displays a time phased projected inventory for plan items. This session displays a list of all components for an item group or a single end product. The exceptional signals in the inventory overview draw attention to problem areas of shortage or excesses.

- The date on which the horizon is started.
- Quantity
- The horizon of each bucket displaying as cell in the grid.

- The demand and supply are based on the planned date.

Allowed values
- Quantity
- The time-phased projected inventory levels at the end of each bucket period are displayed for all items selected in the filter.
- Value
- The value of the time phased projected inventory levels are displayed at the end of each bucket period. The value is the quantity multiplied by the standard cost of the item.
- Demand Coverage
- The time-phased demand coverage (days of stock) represented by the projected inventory of the item are displayed at the end of each bucket period.
- Filters

- Exclude items without transactions
- If this check box is selected, the filter excludes items that do not have any demand transactions or supply transactions linked to them.
- Include all potential components
- If this check box is selected, all potential sub-components or assemblies of item are included.
- Signals

- Negative Inventory - Color code
- The color code indicating the negative inventory. This is displayed in red color.
- Negative Inventory
- If this check box is selected, the signal displays every cell where the Inventory is negative.
- Under Safety Stock - Color code
- The color code indicating under safety stock. This is displayed in yellow color.
- Under Safety Stock
- If this check box is selected, the signal displays every cell where the Inventory is below the safety stock.
- Over Demand Coverage - Color code
- The color code indicating over demand coverage. This is displayed in blue color.
- Over Demand Coverage
- If this check box is selected, the signal displays every cell where the Inventory is available for more days demand than the Demand Coverage Threshold.
- Demand Coverage Threshold
- The demand coverage threshold is a selector which enables you to set the demand coverage tolerance. The demand coverage is compared with this option to evaluate if it is over demand coverage (indicated by the Over Demand Coverage signal).
