Sending an item to production

  1. Select PLM Data Management > Item Management > PLM Items.The PLM Items (pdpdm1500m000) session is displayed.
  2. Select the required item.
  3. Click Send To Production from the Actions menu. The Send to Production (pderp0618m000) session is displayed.
  4. Specify this information:
    Tree Levels
    The hierarchical level of the selected item. This value is defaulted.
    Effective Date
    The date from which the item is active.
    Send Only Top Level Item
    Select this check box to send only the top level items to production.
    Send BOM Designed for Purchase
    Select this check box to include the child items of the purchase item and the related item data.
    Send as
    Indicates the type of item to be sent to ERP. Possible values:
    • Standard Item
    • Customized Item
    Company
    The ERP Company number.
    PCS Project
    The PCS Project in case of customized items.
    Note: This field is displayed only if the Send as field is set to Customized Item.
  5. Click Save. The item data is displayed in the grid on the Send to Production Properties tab.
  6. Click Send To ERP from the Actions menu.
