Defining Mask

  1. Select PLM Data Management > Master Data > Masks. The PLM Project (pdadm3600m000) session is displayed.
  2. Click New Group.
  3. Specify the table name and field Id (mask metadata field).
  4. Click New to define the mask.
  5. Specify the name and length of the mask.
  6. Click Save.
    Note: 
    • If multiple masks are defined, you can use the SET AS PREFERRED option to set the preference for a Mask. The preferred Mask is used if the No condition specifically meets the criteria.
    • By default, a new segment is created on the Segments tab.
    • To add a prefix for this number sequence for the segment, you must create a new sequence and click Save.
  7. Click Test to check if the mask is generated.
