Installing PLM Sync Files as Service

This component and configuration is required if customer wants to use an On-Prem CAD Vault.

  1. Right-click on the PLMSyncFiles.bat file from the c:\Installations and click Edit.
  2. Replace the <Specify PLM Sync Files Service path> with the PLMSyncFiles.exe full path in PLMSyncFiles.bat file. For example, c:\Installation\PLMSyncFiles.exe.
  3. Replace the <Specify PLM Sync Files Service path> with the PLMSyncFiles.exe full path in UninstallPLMSyncFiles.bat file. For example, c:\Installation\PLMSyncFiles.exe.
  4. Save and close the file.
  5. Right-click on the PLMSyncFiles.bat file and click Run as administrator.
  6. Run Services.msc to verify the PLMSyncFiles has installed.
  7. Right-click on the service. Go to Properties > Change the Startup type as shown below.
  8. Start the service, click Apply and OK.
