Entity
The PLM object or link which can be managed using the No Revision Change process.
Description
The brief description of the entity.
Entity Type

The type of entity.

Allowed values

Independent
The entities that can be created directly.

Allowed values:

  • Items
  • Documents
  • Folders
Dependent
The entities which are directly or indirectly dependent on other entities.

Allowed values:

  • BOM lines
  • Item Manufacturer Links
  • BOM - Local Alternative Items
Options
Indicates the type of ownership available for the given entity.
  • Parent Item
  • Not Applicable
Note: This field is applicable if the Entity Type field is set to Dependent.
Controlled By
The type of ownership which is applied to the given entity.
Note: This field is applicable if the Entity Type field is set to Dependent.
Fields allowed to update
The fields which can be updated.
Created By
The name of the user who creates the entity.
Created On
The date and time when the entity is created.
No Revision Change - Allowed Operations for Dependent Entities.
Create (action)
If this check box is selected, the application allows you to create a link for an object as part of no revision change.
Note: This field is applicable if the Entity Type field is set to Dependent.
Update (action)
If this check box is selected, the application allows you to update a link for an object as part of no revision change.
Note: This field is applicable if the Entity Type field is set to Dependent.
Delete (action)
If this check box is selected, the application allows you to delete a link for an object as part of a no revision change.
Note: This field is applicable if the Entity Type field is set to Dependent.
All fields can be updated
If this check box is selected, the application allows you to update any of the fields in an object as part of no revision change.
