Include Pictures in the Visit Report

It is possible to include pictures in the visit report. The pictures are displayed per activity on the visit report, and a comment per picture can be added. This paragraph describes how to do this.
Note: 
  • This functionality is only available when LN Mobile Service integrates with LN CE (as of 2025.10) and only when using HTML Visit Report templates. The functionality is not supported when using RTF Visit Report templates.
  • Before pictures can be added to the visit report, the visit report template must be prepared for this by applying data set 'Photos'. Refer to Appendix B: Creating a Visit Report Template for the details.

Pictures can be added to the visit report before signing off and finalizing the visit report. After selecting the activities that must be printed on the visit report take the following steps to add one or more pictures to the visit report:

  1. Click the Picture icon (Windows) or select Add Picture from the Context menu (Android/iOS) at the top of the Report screen. The Pictures for Visit Report screen displays.
  2. Click or tap the Plus button.
  3. Select the location where you want to retrieve the picture from.
  4. Select the picture. The Add Picture screen (Windows) or the Picture for Visit Report (Android/iOS) is displayed.
  5. Select the activity for which you want to place the picture on the visit report.
  6. Add a comment in the Comment text box, if required.
    Note: This comment is placed with the picture on the visit report.
  7. Select the position of the picture. The position determines the display order on the visit report of the pictures for an activity.
  8. Click Add Picture (Windows) or Save (Android/iOS). The Pictures for Visit Report screen is displayed wherein you can view the added pictures and comments per activity.
  9. Click or tap the Plus button again to add more pictures.
    Note: You can change the position of the picture or change a comment by selecting the picture and selecting Edit from the bottom bar (Windows) or by selecting Edit (Android/iOS). When all pictures are added click or tap the Back button in the Pictures screen. The visit report is displayed including the pictures and comments.

You can add or change pictures by clicking the Picture icon (Windows) or by selecting the Add Picture from the Context menu (Android/iOS) again.

After all pictures are added continue by signing off and finalizing the visit report.

Note: The maximum size of the pictures printed on the visit report can be set by the 'Maximum picture width and height in pixels' setting which is located in the Visit Report settings.
